I found out this evening that a friend of mine died yesterday. I think this is the first time someone I actually liked has passed away. I mean, someone who was my friend. Someone that I chose to associate with because I liked them, not because we were related or lived across the street from each other or whatever. Someone is specifically chose to be around.
I feel a little off-kilter.
