I found out this evening that a friend of mine died yesterday. I think this is the first time someone I actually liked has passed away. I mean, someone who was my friend. Someone that I chose to associate with because I liked them, not because we were related or lived across the street from each other or whatever. Someone is specifically chose to be around.
I feel a little off-kilter.

Did anyone watch last weeks episode of The Daily Show that David Sedaris was one?
They did a bit about scaring high school students into not going to college and they brought this dude in and he was like “I went to college and now I’m $170,000 in debt. I went to art school. I was an illustration major. I don’t even do art ever, all I have is debt.”
